Liz (she/her/hers) oversees the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She also has a Ph.D. from Northwestern's communication studies department and teaches a residence-linked seminar called "From Hamilton to Hamilton: Race, Gender, and Genre in Popular Adaptation." Her first book, Here in This Island We Arrived: Shakespeare and Belonging in Immigrant New York, was published in March 2019 by Penn State University Press. She lives in Chicago with her spouse, David Skidmore (a Grammy-winning Bienen graduate who plays with the quartet Third Coast Percussion!), her daughter, Ida, and her two cats.
